Accredited training providers and employers wishing to change the name of their organisation with the ICB must be aware that the ICB has a name change process that needs to be adhered to in order for us to process the name change.


Your request for a name change will be processed once the following has been received:

  • Updated SARS Tax  Clearance Certificate
  • Updated proof of Skills Development Levy (SDL) registration
  • CIPC company registration documents
  • Proof of the R900.00 payment for the name change (includes new accreditation certificates).


It is important to remember that a name change is only allowed where the company registration number remains the same, where a company registration number has changed, you will need to apply for new accreditation as this will be a new entity.
