The ICBA Database has been reconfigured for the new cloud server.


NOTE: IF YOU RD OR VPN TO THE OFFICE AND DO NOT HAVE A MAC - YOU WILL INSTALL THE ICBA DATABASE ON YOUR PERSONAL PC - THE SAME AS THE ICB DATABASE. YOU WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED TO RD OR VPN TO THE OFFICE. 


YOUR OFFICE PC WILL NOT HAVE THE NEW VERSION INSTALLED. YOU MUST USE THE VERSION INSTALLED ON YOUR HOME DEVICE. 


ALL MAC USERS WILL NEED TO INSTALL THE APPLICATION ON THEIR RESPECTIVE RD MACHINCES.


To install the new ICBA database app on your PC, follow the below instructions:


STEP 1: 


Add this link to your internet browser: https://home.secureicb.co.za/ICBAM/deploy.htm 


You will see the following installation screen:



STEP 2:


Click on the "Install" button and the installation file will download.


This will either appear at the bottom of your screen or in your downloads folder on your PC:


Bottom of the screen:

Downloads folder:




STEP 3:


Click on the set up file that downloaded.


You may receive a pop up from your PC security - if you do, click on "more info" and "run anyway" 




Another screen will pop up - click "Install"



The installation screen will start. Wait for the installation to complete.



The PC security may pop up again. Follow the same steps:




STEP 4: 


You will be asked to locate the ICBAM keyfile.



The ICBAM keyfile is attached to this article. 


The keyfile must be downloaded.


When you download the keyfile, it will either appear at the bottom of your screen or in your downloads folder.


Save the keyfile to your desktop for easy access.



NOTE: You will now have 2 x keyfiles on your desktop. One for the ICBMM (the ICB database) and one for the ICBAM (the ICBA database) - make sure you use the CORRECT keyfile when logging onto the relevant database.


When you have saved the keyfile to your desktop. Click on "Locate key file".



To locate the keyfile make sure that you are have selected "desktop" on the left and "All files" on the bottom right of the search screen. 


The keyfile should show if you have done the above. Double click on the keyfile.



STEP 5:


The login screen will appear:



Use the same login details used to log onto the ICB Database.
