Like all Qualifications in South Africa, irrelevant of the study matter, all qualifications work in cycles and have a start date, an end date and a teach out phase. This is normal and a natural part of professional development. Just as the seasons change, so do our educational journeys. Each new cycle ensures updated curriculum.
ICB qualifications like all other qualifications have a start date, end date and post teach out phase. So this current cycle means that NEW students have until 30 June 2024 to enter ICB qualifications, however, EXISTING ICB students are unaffected. All students registered and in the stream have 3 year teach out phase after 30 June 2024.
Rest assured, your qualification will NOT be revoked, meaning it has lifelong validity. This phase is a structured conclusion that ensures the completion of your studies until the updated study phase begins. This intentional process allows us to support you, in finishing your qualification successfully.
